    Full Kitchen Renovation in Sacramento

    $70,000 – $120,000+typical Sacramento-area estimate

Ranges reflect typical Sacramento-area projects at this tier, not a quote — final pricing is confirmed with a free in-home assessment.

If you've been living with a kitchen layout that never worked — a sink facing a wall instead of the yard, no room for an island, a galley kitchen that's cut off from the rest of the house — a Full Renovation is where that actually gets fixed. This tier includes moving walls, relocating plumbing and gas lines, and updating electrical to support the kitchen you actually want, not just the one the original floor plan left you with.

This is the scope for homeowners who are done working around a bad layout and want a kitchen designed from the studs out, with premium materials and finishes to match the investment.

Layout Changes, New Plumbing and Electrical, Premium Materials

This tier starts with layout. We work with you to redesign the kitchen's footprint — removing a non-structural wall to open into a dining or living space, adding a kitchen island with its own sink or cooktop, reconfiguring where the range and refrigerator sit for a better work triangle. Any structural changes are engineered and permitted properly, and we coordinate the permitting process with Sacramento County or your city so you're not managing that yourself.

Because the layout is changing, plumbing and gas lines get relocated to match — moving a sink to an island, adding a pot-filler, or repositioning a gas line for the range. Electrical gets updated to support the new layout too: added circuits for a larger appliance package, panel capacity checked and upgraded if needed, and lighting designed around the new floor plan rather than retrofitted into the old one.

Cabinetry at this level is typically fully custom or high-end semi-custom, built to the exact dimensions of your new layout rather than fit around an existing one. Countertops are quartz, granite, or marble, often including waterfall edges or an island overhang that wouldn't be structurally possible with laminate. Flooring is replaced throughout, and because we're often opening the kitchen to an adjacent room, we match or transition flooring materials so the spaces read as one continuous area rather than two mismatched rooms.

Appliances at this tier are usually a full package upgrade — the new layout is designed around where they'll sit, including ventilation and clearances that older kitchens often didn't have room for.

    What to Expect

    Typical timeline: 8-12 weeks

Full Renovations typically run 8 to 12 weeks, and permitting is usually the first gate — structural, plumbing, and electrical permits need to be pulled and, in some cases, inspected before we can proceed past framing. We handle the permit applications and schedule inspections around the construction timeline so they don't catch you off guard.

Once permits are in hand, demo goes deeper than in our other tiers — walls, flooring, and sometimes ceiling work, not just cabinets and counters. Rough-in plumbing and electrical happen next and require inspection before we close up walls, followed by framing repairs, drywall, then the same cabinet, countertop, and flooring sequence as a Mid-Range project, just across a larger and reconfigured space.

Because of the scope, most homeowners set up a more complete temporary kitchen elsewhere in the home for the duration, and we build inspection windows into the schedule rather than treating them as a risk to the timeline — they're expected, not a delay.

Is This Tier Right for You?

This tier is right if the problem with your kitchen is the layout itself — not enough storage, no island, a floor plan that isolates the cook from the rest of the house, or a sink and range positioned somewhere that's never worked. If moving a wall or relocating plumbing is on your wish list at all, this is the tier that makes it possible.

If your layout is actually fine and you just want everything in the existing footprint updated — new cabinets, counters, and flooring without touching plumbing or walls — you'll get the same quality outcome for meaningfully less money with our Mid-Range Remodel. Save Full Renovation for when the floor plan itself is what's holding your kitchen back.

The honest tradeoff here is time and cost for a layout that's actually right, rather than one you've adapted around for years. For most households taking this on, it's a one-time investment they don't plan to redo again.
