Ranges reflect typical Sacramento-area projects at this tier, not a quote — final pricing is confirmed with a free in-home assessment.

This tier covers two different high-end paths: true natural marble, and rare or exotic granite and quartzite slabs that go well beyond standard stone-yard inventory. Marble is what most people picture when they imagine a showstopper kitchen — soft white or dramatic dark backgrounds with bold, flowing veining that no engineered material fully replicates. Exotic granites and quartzites offer that same one-of-a-kind natural-stone character but in colors and patterns — deep blues, dramatic movement, unusual mineral formations — that aren't available in standard granite selections.

Both come with tradeoffs worth knowing upfront. Marble is a softer stone than granite or quartzite, so it's more prone to etching from acidic foods like lemon juice or vinegar and to scratching from daily use — homeowners choose it because they love the look and accept that patina as part of owning real marble, not because it's the toughest option. Exotic granite and quartzite, by contrast, are typically just as durable as standard granite, but priced higher because the specific slabs are rarer and often imported.

What's Included with Premium & Marble Installation

Slab selection is the centerpiece of this tier — you're not choosing from a catalog, you're picking the specific, individual slab (or in some cases, a matched set of slabs for a large kitchen) your countertop will be cut from, often from specialty stone importers with limited quantities of a given pattern.

We template your cabinets and coordinate the cut around the slab's natural veining, so dramatic patterns line up intentionally across seams rather than by accident — something that matters much more with a bold marble or exotic slab than with a uniform quartz pattern. Sink, cooktop, and outlet cutouts, along with your choice of edge profile, are included.

Sealing is included and especially important at this tier: marble and many exotic stones are more porous than standard granite, so we apply a sealer suited to the specific material and walk you through a maintenance routine that protects your investment, including which cleaning products to avoid.

    • Vein-matched templating across seams
    • Sink, cooktop & outlet cutouts

    What to Expect

Typical timeline: 3-5 weeks from template to finished install

Because premium and exotic slabs are sourced individually rather than pulled from standard stock, this tier often takes longer up front — locating and reserving the right slab can add time before fabrication even starts, especially for rarer marble or quartzite patterns.

Once the slab is selected and templated, fabrication typically takes 1-2 weeks, with extra care taken to plan cuts around bold veining. Installation is usually completed in a day, though a heavily veined marble slab or a large kitchen needing matched seams may take a bit longer to set precisely. We finish with sealing and a full walkthrough.

Is This Tier Right for You?

This tier is the right fit if the look of the stone matters more than anything else — a true marble kitchen or a rare exotic slab makes a statement that granite and quartz, however nice, generally can't match. It's best suited to homeowners who are comfortable with a bit more day-to-day care in exchange for that look.

If you love the idea of natural stone's uniqueness but want something more forgiving of daily wear and tear — kids, heavy cooking, acidic spills — standard Granite gives you real stone character without marble's softness, usually at a meaningfully lower cost. If low maintenance is the top priority and you don't need a one-of-a-kind slab, Quartz remains the easiest surface to live with day to day.

Budget is also worth being honest about: this tier's pricing reflects genuinely rarer material and more involved sourcing, so if the primary driver is cost rather than a specific marble or exotic look, granite or quartz will get you a comparable kitchen upgrade for less.
