Standard Cleaning in Sacramento
Ranges reflect typical Sacramento-area projects at this tier, not a quote — final pricing is confirmed with a free in-home assessment.
Standard cleaning is built for homes that are already in decent shape and don't need a deep reset — just consistent, reliable upkeep. If you generally keep on top of clutter and dishes but want the recurring workload of floors, bathrooms, kitchens, and dusting handled by someone else, this is the right starting point.
Most homeowners on this tier set it up as a recurring visit — weekly, biweekly, or monthly — rather than a one-time booking. Recurring service is also the most cost-effective way to use this tier, since the crew is maintaining a home that's already close to clean rather than starting from a harder baseline.
What's Included in Standard Cleaning
In the kitchen, we wipe down counters and the exterior of appliances, clean the stovetop, scrub the sink, wipe cabinet fronts, and take out the trash. Bathrooms get a full clean of toilets, sinks, showers, tubs, and mirrors, plus a wipe-down of counters and fixtures.
Floors are vacuumed and mopped throughout the home, and every room gets dusted — furniture surfaces, window sills, and reachable shelving. Bedrooms and living areas are tidied, beds are made if requested, and high-touch surfaces like door handles and light switches are wiped down.
This tier is focused on the surfaces and rooms you use every day. It doesn't include the detail work covered in our Deep Cleaning tier — baseboards, inside appliances, ceiling fans, and light fixtures — since those areas don't need attention on every visit for a well-maintained home.
Entryways and hallways get swept and mopped along with the rest of the floors, mirrors and glass surfaces are streak-cleaned, and beds are made or linens straightened if you'd like. The goal each visit is the same: a consistent, dependable clean you can set your schedule around, not a different scope every time depending on who shows up.

What to Expect
Typical timeline: 1–3 hours per visit, depending on home size
A standard visit for an average Sacramento home runs one to three hours, depending on square footage and how many bedrooms and bathrooms you have. Recurring clients on a weekly or biweekly schedule tend to fall on the shorter end since there's less to catch up on between visits.
Before we arrive, clear countertops and floors of anything you don't want moved, and let us know about pets, allergies, or product preferences. You don't need to be home — many recurring clients provide a key, garage code, or lockbox and let us work on our own schedule.
If a visit falls on a week when the house needs a little extra — guests just left, or the kitchen took a beating from a big cooking weekend — mention it ahead of time so we can budget the right amount of time rather than rushing to stay within the usual window.
Is This Tier Right for You?
Standard cleaning is the right fit if your home is already generally maintained and you just want the recurring workload off your plate. It's not the right fit if it's been months since a real cleaning, if you're prepping for a move, or if you just finished a remodel — in those cases, the buildup or fine dust needs more than a standard pass can cover.
If your home hasn't had a real cleaning in a while, start with Deep Cleaning instead. It resets baseboards, appliances, and detail areas that standard visits don't touch, and gives your recurring standard cleaning a clean baseline to maintain going forward.
If you're moving out, prepping for a buyer or landlord inspection, or cleaning up after construction or a remodel, jump to Move-Out / Post-Construction. That tier is built for dust, debris, and inspection-level detail that standard cleaning simply isn't scoped to handle.
