Move-Out / Post-Construction Cleaning in Sacramento
Ranges reflect typical Sacramento-area projects at this tier, not a quote — final pricing is confirmed with a free in-home assessment.
This tier covers two different situations that share the same level of intensity: moving out of a home, and cleaning up after a remodel or construction project. Move-out cleaning is built to pass a landlord or buyer inspection — every cabinet, drawer, and appliance interior gets attention because that's what a walkthrough checks. Post-construction cleaning is built for a different problem: fine dust from drywall, sanding, and cutting that settles into every surface, vent, and crevice of a space, not just the areas you can see.
Whichever situation applies, this is the most detailed tier we offer. It's not for routine upkeep — it's for a one-time, high-stakes clean where missing a spot has real consequences, whether that's a failed inspection, a withheld deposit, or a newly remodeled kitchen that still feels gritty underfoot.
What's Included in Move-Out & Post-Construction Cleaning
For move-out cleaning, we clean inside every cabinet and drawer, inside the oven, refrigerator, and microwave, and behind and underneath appliances where accessible. Baseboards, window sills, and window tracks are cleaned throughout, closets are wiped down, and light fixtures and switch plates are cleaned — the details a landlord or buyer's walkthrough is looking for.
For post-construction cleanup, the priority is dust — not just on visible surfaces, but inside vents and ductwork covers, on top of cabinets, in light fixtures, and along window tracks where fine particles settle. We wipe down every surface, clean interior cabinets and drawers that collected dust during the project, and address the film that construction leaves on countertops, tile, and glass.
Both scenarios include full floor cleaning — vacuuming, mopping, and where applicable, waxing hard-surface floors to bring back the finish, along with countertop cleaning and water spot removal to get glass, fixtures, and stone surfaces back to a like-new appearance. Carpet cleaning is available as an add-on for either scenario, which matters most for move-out situations where carpet condition affects a deposit or sale.
This is a full detail pass, room by room, from ceiling to floor — not a surface-level wipe-down. We treat it as the last clean a space needs before someone new moves in or starts using it.

What to Expect
Typical timeline: 4–8+ hours, depending on home size and scope
This is our longest visit — typically four to eight hours or more depending on home size, how much construction dust is involved, or how detailed a move-out inspection needs to be. Larger homes or heavier post-construction debris can run longer, and we'll give you a realistic estimate when we scope the job.
Timing matters here more than with our other tiers. For move-outs, schedule the cleaning after furniture is out but before your final walkthrough or the new occupant's move-in date — cleaning an empty home is faster and more thorough than working around boxes and furniture. For post-construction, schedule the clean after the contractor's final walkthrough and after any remaining fine-sanding or touch-up work is done, since additional dust from finishing work can undo an earlier clean. We're happy to coordinate directly with your move date or your remodel timeline to lock in the right day.
Is This Tier Right for You?
This tier is the right fit if you're moving out and need to pass an inspection or hand off a genuinely move-in-ready home, or if you just finished a remodel and need construction dust gone from every surface, not just the obvious ones. If either applies, don't try to save money with a standard or even deep clean — both skip the inside-cabinet, dust-in-the-vents, and window-track detail that inspections and post-remodel spaces actually require.
On the other hand, if your home is simply due for a thorough refresh and there's no move or construction involved, Deep Cleaning is the better value — it covers the detail work without the added inside-cabinet and construction-dust scope that drives this tier's higher price. And if your home is already in decent shape and you just want it maintained going forward, Standard Cleaning is the tier to set up once this one-time clean is done.
If you're not sure which situation you're in — say, a remodel that's dragging on, or a move-out date that keeps shifting — tell us the details when you request a quote. We'll help you time it and scope it correctly rather than booking too early or too small.
